Divya Bharti

She possesses a master’s degree in finance, having been awarded a gold medal at university level for her exceptional performance. Additionally, she achieved a first-class distinction in her bachelor’s degree in economics from Patna Women’s College. Due to her expertise in Finance and Control, she conducted her dissertation on the Non-Performing Assets (NPA) of cooperative banks in the year 2011.  She taught economics and finance to management students at Admerit global business school and has 3 years of teaching experience. After qualifying the UGC Net examination, she enrolled as doctoral candidate at KIIT School of Management, focusing on the topic of women’s economic empowerment and their nutritional status under the guidance of Dr. S.N. Misra, Prof. Emeritus. She currently serves as a Faculty Associate at KIIT School of Management, where she teaches courses in the area of Finance and Economics.

As a researcher, she has a keen interest in development economics, specifically focusing on issues such as nutritional challenges and livelihood concerns faced by women and adolescent girls, as well as the growing income inequality. Additionally, she has been associated with MGNCRE research project on “Sustainability of farmer producer organizations in strengthening rural economy” as a research associate.
