It is my pleasure and honour to welcome you to one of the top B Schools in India - KIIT School of Management (KSOM). It was established in 1993 by our President Late Pradyumna Kishore Bal in the name and style of IBAT, which later merged with KIIT University to be called KIIT School of Management. It is among the best of KIIT’s twenty-five campuses - a perfect blend of nature and construct, and one of the best places for recruitment. The alumni of this school have carved a niche for themselves, both in the corporate world and the realm of start-ups and entrepreneurship. As KSOM prepares for the Industry 4.0 era, it works closely with potential employers, business partners, and its alumni to constantly enhance internship and job opportunities for its students.

Its student development initiatives also include workshops, guest lectures and international symposiums, in addition to organising numerous corporate interactions. Besides curricular learning, the school also focuses on the development of invaluable communication and soft skills such as critical thinking, creativity and problem solving, which will, no doubt, ensure that students will graduate as well-rounded skilled business professionals with global exposure and industry-readiness. KSOM largely owes its success to the prolific leadership of its directors over the years who have worked keeping my aspirations to serve the society in mind. Mr. Samir Panda, Vice President, Corporate Relations has been mentoring the school effectively for over a decade. I wish my loveable KIITians a bright future. May your journey at KSOM be the perfect marriage of your ambitions and passions, with a payoff that is not only professional, but first and foremost personal.
