KSOM Professor Imparts Training to OAS Officers

Dr. Ipseeta Satpathy, Sr. Professor, imparted training on the 2nd of March 2022, to the Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) officers, as part of the Govt. of India training program on “Body Language and Etiquettes on Personality Development “. Around 35 officers attended the training program which was very interactive and was highly appreciated by all the participants.

Today, body language has become a very powerful and indispensable form of communication in our day-to-day interaction. Our verbal descriptions would fall flat without non-verbal accompaniments. To add on, they would be shallow, unexciting and inaccurate too. Practically, all the judgements we make about people being merry or moody, nice or nasty, amicable or hostile and so on, are generally based on cues which we receive from their non-verbal communication. The program was followed by a question answer session which witnessed maximum enthusiastic participation and it ended with a vote of thanks.
