Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) University wasestablished in 1992 as a vocational training Centre which took its shapeas an institution in 1997 with the dedicated immense work of Dr. AchyutaSamanta. His dedication for the university has ranked it 49 by NIRF,Ministry of Human resource Development and also ranked 24th amongIndian universities by NIRF 2020, Government of India. KIIT school ofManagement (KSOM) is an esteemed part of KIIT university and is one ofthe renowned B-schools of the country.
