“Kamaraderie 2022” – Orientation program of BBA I students, Batch 2022-2025 was conducted by KSOM on 14th Oct’ 2022

Prof. S. K. Mahapatra, Director – KSOM addressed the students. He stressed on the importance of continuous learning. Real life examples were cited and this made his session very educative. He spoke about the sprawling infrastructure, about the state of the art facilities, about the beautiful campuses and opportunities provided by the School for continuous learning.

Prof. Sumita Mishra, Dean – KSOM stressed on holistic development. She advised the students to participate in the domain clubs and social clubs instituted for academic excellence and personality development.

Prof. Isa Mishra, Chairperson, BBA introduced the KIIT family and KSOM family to all the students. She elucidated how BBA can be the perfect foundation of a professional career. It is entirely up to the student as to how he / she can make use of the opportunities provided by the institute.

Prof. Mohar Banerjee Biswas, Co-ordinator, BBA III and Prof. Ritika Sharma, Co-ordinator, BBA II addressed the students on the importance of every year of the BBA academic calendar.

The various Clubs were introduced by Prof. Shikta Singh, Chairperson, Student Development Committee. Prof. Sugato Tripathy, Chairperson, Branding & Marketing advised the students to focus on social media which has become an important part of daily activity for overall growth.

The program was anchored by Prof. Saptorshi Das, BBA1 Co-ordinator who is also the Chairperson of the Girls’ Hostel. She also facilitated all the student activities 12 noon onwards with the support of BBA III and BBA II students. These students inspired their juniors through a stellar performance. Activities conducted included: “KORUS” – the singing star in you; “KALAAKAR” – sharpen your elocution and acting skills and “KANVAS KATHA” – poster making competition.

Prizes were given away by Sri Samabesh Nayak, Dy. Registrar, Admin, KSOM.

The event was attended by faculty members and non-teaching members of KSOM.
