Details:

Mr. Rajesh Jha –Executive Director –Projects Jindal Steel & Powers Limited delivered his electrifying and encouraging speech to the students of KSOM.

Through the topic “The Steel & Power Industry: Challenges & Prospects” Mr. Jha spoke about industry life, work environment of industries and the changes that have occurred over the years. He said today’s workplace is different, diverse, and constantly changing. Innovation is taking place at each and every stage. Many Industries had started their journey at the same time but now there is a big gap between them. The only one thing that has created this gap is the level of the commitment of their team. He emphasized on how this commitment is very important for all of us if we wish to grow. Ambition alone doesn’t take you higher but input is also required.

The typical employer – employee relationship of old has been turned upside down. Various factors have created an environment where the business, needs its employees more than the employees need the business. In this changed scenario, corporate houses can aspire to achieve excellence and sustainable development through optimum utilization of resources.

The difference between haves and haves nots, between rich and poor is not that of resources but it’s about managing them to the best of its advantage . Challenging the situation and improving it is what takes you apart.

Mr. Rajesh also interacted with the students on various topics raised by them about the steel and power industry in general and JSPL in particular.
