Dreams – Won’t Let you Sleep!

What are dreams? Scientifically, “a dream is a succession of images, ideas, emotions, and sensations that usually occur involuntarily in one’s mind during certain stages of sleep.”

Psychologically, “a dream is a thought that runs continuously in your mind and that thought is a goal that you want to achieve in your life.”

Last night when I was going to sleep I was thinking about myself that what will my future be, what do I want to do in my life, what my dream is. Then a thought came up and I started thinking about it all the time. This thought is always with me and all my actions during my routine are to chase this thought. This is dream.

I don’t know what that dream you have is; I don’t know how disappointing your life is. As you are working towards your dream, here’s what I know that the dream you are holding on to in your mind that can be a reality one day. You may say sometimes that you can’t do it, but you can say that it’s possible. You just have to work at it day in and day out. Don’t let anybody convince you that you can’t do it, keep working on what you started, take chances, take risks, go and fail, rise again and work for it again. Learn from failures. Most people won’t fail because they never try. Most of the people, they raise a family, they earn a living and they die. Become a risk taker and give yourself a chance, for what you want to become, for what you want to do. In this process you will face a lot of failures, a lot of disappointments, a lot of pain, a lot of defeats. But in the process you will discover something that you don’t know right now. You become empowered. You are ready to face any situation, any circumstance.

Just keep on chasing your dream, keep on developing yourself. It’s necessary to let go of the energy drainers from your life, people who are letting you down, people who are not developing themselves. Get the losers out of your life. Nobody else will be able to visualize what your vision is, what you can achieve. Let them know that you are of a different breed. It’s necessary to always hold on to your vision and be creative while working on your dream, be ready to readjust your strategies, be ready to re-plan your ideas if your ideas won’t work and no one but you can do it for you. Review your dream everyday, experience setbacks, disappointments, sadness but keep fighting for it until you win.
