Dr. Ipsita Nayak has completed her PhD from Utkal University and a Certificate course in Communication and Management Essentials from IIT, Kharagpur. Her doctoral research on the theme of “Social Exclusion” is in the area of Indian English fiction. She has 20 years of teaching experience in the area of Communicative English, Business Communication and Managerial Communication. She conducts training programmes for employees at various capacities in different organizations. She has designed and facilitated training at NINL, NTPC, Tata Power, SIDBI and ESSPL.

Dr. Nayak has delivered several talks in academic forums as a resource person and invited speaker. She has an expertise in designing ABL (activity-based learning) sessions. She offers personalized solutions to the problems concerning the communication competency of students/ trainees. She believes in upgrading herself with perpetual research. Her research orientation is reflected in her numerous presentations in seminars and conferences and in her publications in both print and electronic media. She is also associated with reputed journals as a reviewer. Her research interests include World literature, Tribal literature, Postcolonial literature, Sustainability studies and Cultural Studies.
