Prof. Rabi N Subudhi and Prof. SC Das of KSoM have published a socially useful book on a most current topic, on digital diversity and consumption. Published  and circulated by Amazon – Kindle, the book, entitled,” Digital Diversity and Internet Consumption in India”, is the outcome of a major research project, funded by ICSSR, Govt. of India.    This books studies both the secondary data on digital consumption in India, and also an empirical survey based primary data,  to study the impact of internet use, among various categories of net users. It also studies some adverse effects like ‘digital escapism. Analysis is based on surveys of around 1500 respondents, mostly from Eastern India. Data were collected both by physical mode, as well as through online surveys. It is an outcome of an extensive survey for over 8 months. It will be of immense help for researchers, and also for policy makers.
