KSOM recently concluded a three day training programme on ‘Withdrawal Strategies’ for the Forest Dept of Odisha through OFSDP. The programme discussed various protocols for effective withdrawal strategies along the forest fringe villages of Odisha that included case studies as well. In addition to KSOM faculty members – Prof. Subrat Sarangi, Prof. Arvind Tripathy and Prof. Sumita Mishra, other esteemed external trainers from Pradan Odisha and the Planning and Coordination Dept, Govt. of Odisha were also present and conducted the MDP. The programme had representation from the 14 OFSDP project forests of Odisha and included various DFO’s ACF and IFS officers.
