A scientific literature review is the foundation for generating appropriate research gaps, build conceptual frameworks and apt researchable problems. Literature reviews can be conducted through varied processes. One of the most exhaustive, respected and scientific methodologies to conduct literature reviews is that of systematic reviews. Systematic literature reviews are heavily relied to in the domains of public health and medicine. Systematic scoping of studies to be covered, robust reporting protocols, rigorous quality checks on the papers identified and scientific reporting make systematic literature reviews one of the most valued reservoirs of evidence-based data. Systematic literature reviews also are a gateway to meta-analysis in domains where plethora of studies exist. The methodology associated with such a literature review is rigorous and needs clear exposition before being undertaken by scholars for different domains of research across varied disciplines.
The resource person was Prof. Himanshu Dhaka is presently working as an Assistant Professor at the School of Management and Labour Studies at Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai. He has completed his FPM in Organizational Behaviour from Management Development Institute, Gurgaon. His research is primarily on the application of contemplative practices for improving values and behaviour of individuals in the workplace. He has also taken consulting assignments on behalf of TISS for government programmes such as Rashtriya Uchchattar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) and for business organizations such as RPG Group.Presently he teaches Organizational Behaviour, HR Systems and Practices, Organizational Development and HR Analytics at TISS. He also visits IIT Bombay to take guest sessions on qualitative research methods for their doctoral program
