Mr Dipak Rakhecha, a Chartered Accountant and an Entrepreneur brings with him global exposure in Information Technology and Business Consulting accrued in MNC environment. He has worked in diverse capacities on assortment of SAP projects – full cycle implementations, country implementations and support in Global companies like Deloitte Consulting, ITC Infotech and BOC Group. He is chief mentor at Infocus Technologies Pvt Ltd in Kolkata which consists 30 SAP functional consultants and around 45 SAP technical consultants in India.

Mr Sudip Maitra,professionally a MCA and an Entrepreneur  is result oriented SAP professional with 10 years of professional experience which includes 8 years in SAP consulting experience in SAP technical domains. He posseses very good knowledge in SAP project management, pre sales and client managements and is having very good exposure in managing overseas client. He heads SAP practice as the Director of the company Infocus Technologies Pvt Ltd in Kolkata which consists 30 SAP functional consultants and around 45 SAP technical consultants in India.

Mr. Dipak Rakhecha spoke about the various career opportunities and job roles one could take up in SAP to the students of SOM, KIIT. He emphasized on how important it is to integrate all the functions effectively in an organization, and how swiftly SAP does it. He then proceeded to enlighten the students as to how to build a bright career in SAP, how lucrative it is and how important is its existence in today’s world of innovation and technology.
He said that SAP is a process oriented; business solution tool has great relevance today. He emphasized on how SAP compliments one’s knowledge and thought process. He explained it beautifully with an example, that SAP runs through the body of an organization like blood, if the flow stops the organization also stops just as a body stops working when blood stops flowing. It shows how important is the application of SAP today. He very interestingly explained how important it is to sell one’s resume to sustain in the money market. He moved forward to explain how important SAP is in a fluid industry like the IT industry. He explained the SAP implementation phases, an organizational hierarchy, pay packages and experience accordingly.
He then moved forward to explain how In-focus started and in a span of a few years how it has reached where it is now with a good market share and a huge clientele ranging from African Development Bank CLP Hongkong, IBM to many other prominent and high statured organizations today. He in a crisp and short form explained the importance, application, prospects and positioning of SAP in today’s market in India.
