Mr. Abhijit Bhattacherjee is an alumnus of Utkal University and specializes in Finance, Telco, Retail, Insurance and TTH. He has also worked as a consultant at American Cancer Society; as the Principal Consultant at Eagle Creek Software Services; as the Senior Technical ADM Advisory at IBM Global Services; as the Senior Programmer Analyst at CompUSA; and as a consultant at Exact Software.
Mr. Abhijit Bhattacherjee interacted with the students of School of Management and delivered a speech on the use of technology for effective execution of customer relationship management strategies. All business strategies revolve around maximizing profitability, revenue and customer satisfaction. Hence it is wise to organize business around customer segments and foster behaviors in employees that encourage increased satisfaction in customers. According to Mr. Bhattacherjee, implementing an IT-enabled customer-centric business strategy is the key to achieve the aforementioned goals. Such customer-centric IT processes gives better customer insight and facilitates effective interactions between the company and the customer.
This interaction with Mr. Bhattacharjee, gave students an insight into the practical benefits of CRM- how it helps to know the customers intimately and to use that knowledge in delivering better products and services.
