KSOM Alumnus bags First National Award for Indian Leadership for Industrial Development

The institute’s 1996-batch Alumnus, Mr. Ayaskanta Mohanty, Managing Director, Tatwa Technologies Ltd, won the Indian Leadership Award for Industrial Development, as an SME in the technology sector at the National Economic Development and Social Responsibility Forum, held in New Delhi on 9th March 2013.

Tatwa Technologies, founded by Ayaskanta is a leading provider of IT and ITES solutions, with presence in several cities of the country including Kolkata, Mumbai, Bhubaneswar and Hyderabad.

Tatwa’s Corporate Social Responsibility activities have created employment opportunities for the handicapped with 20% of the vacancies being reserved for them. The company also conducts Blood Donation Camps every 3 months and donates the collected blood to the Red Cross Society and Local Blood Banks.

A true visionary by nature and a luminous source of inspiration for all future entrepreneurs,  Mr. Mohanty believes that the success of any business house is not determined by the amount of investment but the size of its vision and the persistency to follow it.
