At the 17th NHRDN Conference, held at Swabhumi, The Heritage Plaza, Kolkata, Dr. Achyuta Samanta was felicitated for his remarkable work in the field of education and social work, especially in relation to the Kalinga Institute of Social Studies (KISS). KISS is a one-of-a-kind effort in India, where more than 25,000 tribal students are given free boarding and education from KG to PG level.
The award was given away by Mr. Rajeev Dubey, National President, NHRDN, and also the President, Group HR & Executive Board Member, Mahindra & Mahindra at a glittering ceremony attended by corporate bigwigs.
The conference, partnered by KSOM, deliberated on “Building Sustainable Organizations” and emphasised on the manpower needs of businesses in today’s times and how the education sector can help
On the occasion, Dr. T. V.
