Konfidant – The Flagship Corporate Mentoring program of KIIT School of Management was held on January 17th, 2026.

About Konfidant

Konfidant is a programme that gives MBA students an opportunity to receive mentoring from eminent corporate leaders during their academic journey at KIIT School of Management (KSOM).

Through the programme, students connect with industry stalwarts who take on the role of mentors. Each mentor guides a small group of students assigned to them as mentees. In this programme, corporate dignitaries mentor a group of 10 students.

Mentoring and Career Discussions

The event featured one-on-one discussions between the guests and the students. The discussions focused on resume building, career augmentation, and preparation.

The guests were very impressed with the preparation level of the MBA students. They also congratulated the students for their thought clarity, discipline, and sincerity towards their careers.

A Unique Industry-Academia Initiative

Konfidant is a one-of-a-kind initiative among educational institutes in India. The programme primarily aims to facilitate knowledge sharing, career guidance, and networking opportunities.

As a result, students gain valuable exposure as they prepare to become professionals. Moreover, the half-day programme marked the beginning of a long-lasting mentorship journey between the students and corporate mentors.

Leadership and Support

Prof. Mohar Banerjee Biswas – Chairperson, Konfidant leads the programme. In addition, the programme receives strong support and guidance from the KSOM leadership team.

Dr. Kumar Mohanty, Director, KSOM, and Dr. Arvind Tripathy, Dean MBA, KSOM, lead the KSOM leadership team supporting the initiative.

The corporate leaders expressed their appreciation for the programme concept. They also congratulated the entire team for its strong focus on industry-academia partnership.

Furthermore, the guests appreciated the efforts made by the students. They specifically acknowledged the students’ discipline and preparation for the mentorship event.
