Webinar on “Labour Codes – Implications & Implementation Strategies” for the NBCC
June 30, 2025A Management Development Program (MDP) on “Managerial Excellence” was successfully conducted by KIIT School of Management (KSOM), Bhubaneswar for the Project Managers of National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC) – a Navratna CPSE under the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, Government of India.
This 3-day intensive program focused on enhancing strategic thinking, execution capability, cross-functional co-ordination and people leadership in complex infrastructure project environments. The sessions included a wide range of topics with the purpose of enhancing technical competence, emotional intelligence, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities. In specific, the sessions included inside-out journey, managing difficult stakeholders, managing challenges in a digital world, transactional analysis, leading differently, data driven decision making, managing time effectively, employee wellness, behavioural biases in decision making and POSH. The 3 day program ended very aptly with the participants being taken on a tour of KISS (Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences) – which is an attempt of Dr. Achyuta Samanta, the founder of KIIT and KISS to empower tribal communities and house 80,000 students in Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) since the year 2015.

The program saw highly engaged participation, thought-provoking interactions, and a visible enthusiasm for continuous learning. It was well appreciated by:

The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Prof. Sarbeswar Mohanty, Chairperson – MDP & Consulting, followed by the distribution of Certificates of Participation to all the 25 participants.
