]]> School of Management, KIIT University’s faculty had taken up an assignment to prepare the business plan for a major private sector client operating in the power distribution sector in India. The scope of work included doing sales forecasting, Capex and system improvement plan, efficiency improvement plan in terms of distribution loss reduction and collection efficiency improvement, estimation of revenue and operating expenses. The focus of the business plan was on financial restructuring and developing a turn-around strategy so that the business could become profitable by the end of their business plan period.

]]> Roboticwares Pvt. Ltd., under the aegis of KIIT, TBI has developed a product which helps to detect LPG leakage in air. In the quest to commercialize the product, Roboticwares Pvt. Ltd., under the support and guidance of KIIT, TBI wanted to understand the perception of the prospective target segments for Suraksha and their acceptance for the product. In this context KIIT, TBI engaged RMC, KSOM, KIIT University to conduct the market assessment study for Suraksha for a specific target group and geographical spread. The engagement started in January 2013 and the final report was submitted on January 31st’ 2013.
