General Rules for the Online Analytics Quiz 2023

  • Eligibility: The contest is open to both undergraduate and postgraduate students and needs individual participation. Each participant must register individually for the quiz.
  • Registration: Participants must register for the quiz through the provided link within the specified timeframe (10th August 2023, 5 PM). Late registrations will not be entertained.
  • Quiz Format: The quiz will consist of 50 multiple-choice questions related to analytics concepts, data analysis, machine learning, industry trends, etc
  • Quiz Timing: The total duration of the quiz will be 20 Minutes. The quiz shall be activated on 12th August 2023 at 5 PM (IST) and close at 5:20 PM (IST). The link to the quiz will be sent to the participants on their registered email address on 11th August 2023 by 1:00 PM (IST).
  • Quiz Evaluation:
    • Four possible answers will be given for each question, with only one correct answer. Each question will carry 3 marks if answered correctly. There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer.
    • The participant scoring the maximum marks wins.
    • In case of a tie in terms of marks, the timestamp at which you ended the quiz will be considered. The participant who has completed the quiz earlier will be considered the winner.
  • Fair Play: Participants must avoid using external resources or seeking assistance during the quiz. Any form of plagiarism or cheating will result in immediate disqualification.
  • Results: The quiz scores will be evaluated, and the top participants will be notified via email. All the participants will be given “E-Certificates.”
  • The decision of the organizing committee will be final and binding.

 

General Rules for the Online Case Competition 2023

  • Team Formation: Participants can form teams of 2 to 3 members to participate in the case competition. Each team must appoint a team leader for communication purposes.
  • Registration: Teams must register for the case competition through the provided registration link within the specified timeframe (10th August 2023, 5 PM). Late registrations will not be accepted.
  • Case Release: The case and the submission link will be released by 12th August 11 AM through the official email address provided during registration.
  • Case Analysis: Teams must thoroughly analyze the case, considering all relevant factors, and develop innovative solutions within the stipulated time. (12th August 11 AM- 1 PM)
  • Submission: Teams must submit their solutions in the provided link within the given timeframe. (12th August 11 AM- 1 PM). Late submissions will not be considered for evaluation.
  • Originality: Each submission must be the original work of the team. Any plagiarism or unauthorized use of external resources will lead to disqualification.
  • Evaluation: Submissions will be evaluated based on their analytical rigor, creativity, practicality, and clarity of presentation.
  • Results: the top participants will be notified via email. All the participants will be given “E-Certificates.”  The decision of the organizing committee will be final and binding.

Rules Regarding Cancellation of Events Due to Unforeseen Circumstances:

While we are committed to conducting the Pre-Conclave Events, the Online Analytics Quiz, and the Online Case Competition, unforeseen circumstances may arise that necessitate event cancellation. In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, the organizing committee reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify the Pre-Conclave Events without any liability.
