KSOM Hosts 25th Anniversary Alumni Reunion of 1999–2001 Batch

Bhubaneswar: KIIT School of Management (KSOM), Bhubaneswar, hosted a memorable 25th Anniversary Alumni Reunion of the 1999–2001 Batch on 15th August 2026. The event brought together alumni to celebrate their shared journey. It also gave them an opportunity to reconnect with old friends and renew their bond with their alma mater.

The reunion was marked by nostalgia, warmth, and camaraderie. After 25 years, alumni came together to revisit cherished memories of their days at IBAT/KSOM. Furthermore, the gathering provided an opportunity for alumni to reconnect, exchange experiences, and reflect on their professional and personal journeys since graduating from the institution.

A number of alumni travelled from different places to participate in the milestone celebration. As a result, their enthusiasm and active participation added to the spirit of the occasion. It also reflected the enduring relationship that alumni continue to share with KSOM.

Alumni and Faculty Address the Gathering

Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Ayushi Raichoudhury – FIC, Alumni Relations, extended her welcome and greetings to the alumni present at the event. She highlighted the importance of building a stronger and more connected alumni network.

Meanwhile, Director Prof. Kumar Mohanty said it was nostalgic to know that a few alumni in senior positions are ready to contribute to the school. In his remarks, he highlighted the importance of alumni engagement. He also spoke about its role in strengthening the institution’s legacy and fostering a vibrant and connected alumni community.

Dean – MBA and Dean – BBA also addressed the gathering. They shared their thoughts on the significance of alumni engagement. Additionally, they welcomed the alumni and appreciated their continued association with KSOM.

Several alumni also shared their emotions and memories associated with the institute. At the same time, faculty members and staff of KIIT School of Management were present at the reunion. They interacted warmly with the alumni.

Their participation added to the nostalgic and celebratory atmosphere. Moreover, it provided an opportunity for faculty and former students to reconnect. They could also share memories of the alumni’s days at IBAT/KSOM.

Special Presence of the Founder

The reunion was also strengthened by the gracious presence of our beloved Founder sir Prof. (Dr.) Achyuta Samanta. His presence added special significance to the celebration.

In addition, Prof. Raj Kumar from XLRI and Prof. Abhijeet Dutta participated virtually.

Strengthening the KSOM–KIIT Alumni Community

KSOM also called upon alumni across batches to reconnect with their alma mater. Furthermore, the institution encouraged them to actively contribute to strengthening the growing KSOM–KIIT alumni community.

Finally, the celebration concluded on a warm and nostalgic note. Alumni shared memories and reconnected with their classmates. They also created new moments to cherish.
