KIIT School of Management recently conducted a three-day residential MDP for the forest department officers of OFSDP, 21st – 23rd November, 2013. The event’s inauguration was attended by Shri, R.K.Sharma, IAS, Dept. of Forest & Environment, Sri.Vinid Kumar, IFS, PD, OFSDP and Cmd.Dilip Mohapatra. It had participants from across the forest districts of Odisha. Over the course of the three days, the participants were exposed to the various concepts of brand and brand building with respect to NTFPs by Prof. Subrat Sarangi and Prof. Arvind Tripathy from KSOM and Prof. Debasis Pradhan of XLRI. It also had a field visit to the TDCCOL’s flagship store to give the participants a hands on experience in forest product branding.
