A one day MDP entitled “Developing Negotiation Skills” was organized by Mahanadi Coalfields Limited in partnership with School of Management, KIIT University on the 26^th of February, 2013 in their corporate office at Burla, Odisha. The onsite MDP was attended by 25 participants drawn from various management levels ranging from management trainees to middle management personnel of MCL. Prof. Subrat Sarangi and Prof. Arvind Tripathy from the School of Management, KIIT University, were the key resource persons who conducted this day long program. The sessions covered topics related to negotiation giving the participants vital and varied inputs on negotiation process, need for negotiation, negotiation styles and skills. Cases and simulated games were used extensively to make the learning process livelier and highly interactive.
