KSOM conducted its inaugural Business Research Fair on 16th-17th March’2018. The first of its kind fair in Odisha was inaugurated by Dr. Hrushikesha Mohanty, Vice Chancellor, KIIT. and Prof. Debasish Das, Director, KSOM. Other top officials of the University also visited and participated in the fair that spanned over two days.
KURIOCITY is an innovative platform for conducting research and analyzing behaviour of individuals (consumers, influencers and others) and how those impact business processes. Research problems provided by corporates were gamified to obtain participant’s responses. Encompassing all management parameters, Kuriocity had several Marketing Research Games, Personality Tests and Financial Simulations. The inaugural fair had over 40 stalls where research data was collected in the form of challenging games. Several corporates across industry verticals participated in the Business Research Fair. Notable market players like Big Bazaar, MayFair Chain of Hotels,, Vodafone along with several startups were part of the fair. The event also had popular retailers like Habib, Unisex, Dugout, Hub etc. as gifting partners.
KSOM students put up an impressive display of talent and creativity in the two days. With more than 2000 footfalls from Bhubaneswar and surrounding areas, the event was a grand success. The fair saw huge participation from various demographics including school students, entrepreneurs, corporates, graduates and academicians and received widespread appreciation and positive feedback.
