Konfluence, the indigenous outbound programme at KSOM, which happens to be the last two days of the MBA induction programme, was conducted this year at the exotic Toshali Sands Resorts near Puri. It was spearheaded by Prof.Surya Mishra. The morning of the first day was started by an energetic talk by Commodore Dilip Mohapatra on “Campus to Corporate”. This was followed by various activities which were conducted by Prof. Surya Mishra and Prof. Sugato Tripathy. The day culminated with a quiet bonfire chat with the director Prof. Anil Bajpai.
The second day started early around 5:30 am with yoga exercises, making the students vibrate with energy and enthusiasm. Without bringing down the tempo, Prof. Mishra, Prof. Tripathy and Prof. Joydeep Biswas, made the students get into various team-building activites such “beach vending” and “furniture building”. Prof. Ashok Sar in his session talked on various time management skills required for the budding manager, which was followed by an interactive session by Prof. Shraddha Padhi on “Effective Inter-Personal Skills”. The later part of the evening the students spent with Prof. Bajpai and Prof. Mishra who discussed on the importance of creative storytelling. Konfluence ended with the usual note of we-want-more from the students.
