KCL 2015-16: KSOM Bhubaneswar’s Supercharged Cricket League

KCL (KSOM Cricket League) is always a high point in KSOM’s campus life. The entire student community gets charged up for the unofficial “national game” of India. Organized by Team Aequitas, the sports club of KSOM, it entails months of hard work, carefully planning and flawless execution.

The event spread over several days had six boys teams and two girls teams for which players were auctioned. The team names are:

Boys Team:

  • Kalinga Warriors
  • Spartans
  • Phoenix Rising
  • Renegades
  • Rural Unicorns
  • Smashers

Girls Team:

  • Phoenix Angels
  • Miss Spartans

League matches were played between the teams before moving on to the semifinals and finals. Spartans and Renegades went to the finals. Spartans put up a spectacular show and took home the cup. Similarly, in girls match, Phoenix Angels were the winner.

There were many nail biting moments throughout the matches and the audience had a great time cheering for their favourite teams.
