Mentoring

Giving students a hand to HELP & ears to LISTEN. Mentoring at KSOM contributes significantly to the academic and emotional wellbeing of a student. A student, attached to a faculty mentor for two years develops a special bond with the faculty, resulting in greater exchange of ideas and improved career guidance. To make the mentoring rigorous and value adding, faculty members keep a detailed record of the mentee and track his/her performance and attendance regularly. A monthly mentoring report is created by the faculty and overall mentoring efectiveness is monitored regularly by the management.

Student Mentoring

In addition to faculty members, second year students are attached to first years as mentors to help the new students espcially during the initial days. From written and unwritten rules of the college to local cuisine, senior mentors come in handy in a variety of situations.
